Scene in a Movie asked AI to name film and movie genre’s (Crime, Comedy, etc) and topics or common elements (about cats, dogs, racing) and then we asked for both a “good scene” and a “bad scene” from the movies they chose in that genre or topic.

The Aristocats (1970):

Good Scene: The lively and jazzy “Everybody Wants to Be a Cat” musical number.

Bad Scene: Some find the plot too simplistic compared to other Disney classics.

Garfield: The Movie (2004):

Good Scene: Garfield’s humorous interactions and witty one-liners.

Bad Scene: Critics mentioned that the plot is formulaic and lacks depth.

Puss in Boots (2011):

Good Scene: Puss’s swashbuckling and charming character in action sequences.

Bad Scene: Some felt the story was not as engaging as other Shrek films.

The Cat in the Hat (2003):

Good Scene: Colorful and imaginative sequences capturing the essence of Dr. Seuss.

Bad Scene: Critics found the film strayed too far from the source material.

Keanu (2016):

Good Scene: The adorable kitten Keanu and his impact on the characters.

Bad Scene: Some critics felt the humor was inconsistent.

Alice in Wonderland (1951):

Good Scene: The whimsical and eccentric Cheshire Cat moments.

Bad Scene: Some viewers find the narrative disjointed.

Coraline (2009):

Good Scene: The eerie and captivating presence of the cat as a guide.

Bad Scene: The dark and unsettling themes might not be suitable for all audiences.

A Cat in Paris (2010):

Good Scene: The unique animation style and thrilling cat burglar plot.

Bad Scene: Some found the storyline a bit too complex for a family film.

Pet Sematary (1989):

Good Scene: The eerie and suspenseful moments involving the resurrected cat.

Bad Scene: The film’s horror elements may be too intense for some.
